Welcome to Hotel Roosevelt

You wake up, slightly disorientated and dizzy, not sure where you are. Your surroundings are unfamiliar, a plush, furnished room. Lying on a soft bed and unaware of how you got there and what is that unpleasant smell?

Well, you’re in Roosevelt Hotel, this room is now your hotel room –do try not to lose your key and remember the room number, okay. You’ve been selected from the millions to have a vacation in our new, lavishly decorated Hotel. Don’t worry about home, everything will be waiting for you when you get back. If you get back.

From now on you’re expected to enjoy the pool, feast on the fine dining, enjoy the gym and get to know your new friends in the bars. We’ve got fun, sunshine and plenty of time to relax. So why would you want to leave?

Oh, but that’s right. When the sun goes down, strange things happen. You hear voices, things move on their own and that unpleasant smell you noticed when you first woke up, that comes back from time to time. The stench of burnt wood, smoke and cooking flesh. You see, before the Roosevelt Hotel was refurbished there was a terrible fire, the top two floors of the hotel were destroyed. And guests perished in the blaze.

But don’t you worry about that! That was years ago, it’s not like anyone’s out for revenge on the Manager for shoddy fire safety, it’s not like the Manager is covering themselves with over populating to Hotel to buy some time, oh no. You’re just our valued guests.

Oh, by the way, you won't ALWAYS be in the prison, I like to play games, sometimes you'll wake up in a desert with no water and be expected to survive, and sometimes you'll wake up in playground or torture chamber, it all depends on how I feel!

Sometimes weird thing will even happen to you and the people here with you...

Oh, and if you think it's boring not having some form of trouble all the time, don't fret! Everyone still has ALL their weapons, even the murderers!!

There are monsters EVERYWHERE!
They are my pets, but I don't mind if you kill them, if you're capable, I can always make a bunch more!

And if you die, don't worry about that, you'll wake up missing one item of yours in the "special room".
You'll be released at the end of the day [Sunday real time]
And if you kill someone, you'll either get your item back, or one of theirs! Tehe! Like a game!
